FIVE TYPES OF TEMPERAMENTS
1) CHOLERIC:
Aggressive, task oriented individual who is people friendly. His/Her objective is to GET THE JOB DONE.
- Their greatest need is RECOGNITION for what he/she has done. This quest for recognition drives him/her in whatever they are doing.
2) MELANCHOLY:
The thinker, genius prone. An individual who is quiet and prefers to be alone. He/she is able to socialize, but needs
quiet time. He/she is a perfectionist and does everything well.
- Their greatest need is to be ENCOURAGED.
3) SANGUINE:
Very people oriented. Very upbeat, optimistic, talkative, and active. NEEDS TO BE AROUND PEOPLE. Does not like
to be alone or isolated.. They are NOT TASK ORIENTED.
- Their greatest need is ATTENTION.
4) SUPINE:
The SERVANT of all Temperaments. They will do anything for anyone. They are both PEOPLE AND TASK ORIENTED.
- Their greatest need is APPROVAL.
5) PHLEGMATIC:
The DIPLOMAT, easy going, peace at all costs, witty, and a hard to get motivating person. They are very detailed and
can work at tedious jobs for long periods of time without getting bored.
- Their greatest need is to be INSPIRED.
